Today I am crabby about software upgrades that look really, really pretty and perform ten times worse than the one that wasn't quite so pretty. Wells Fargo bill pay service is one. I need to dump WF bill pay. Much as it pains me to say so, I must report that WordPerfect 12 belongs there, except for the part about pretty. Besides the drastic decrease in the ability to even use the program, I don't see a cosmetic difference. Everything's exactly the same except the program doesn't work. I wanted to cry when I saw yahoo upgraded mail... Gmail, on the other hand, works and even on dial up it's pretty fast, and it makes Outlook which I am stuck with at work, look hideously unusable. Of course, that's because even Outlook 2003, which has some neat features isn't really usable.
